At Zixtel we specialise in both the refurbishment and recycling of all IT equipment.
E-waste is one of the fastest-growing waste streams on the planet. Across the globe we produce millions and millions of tonnes of it with the total tonnage increasing each year.
Recycle or refurbish?
We focus on the reusable aspect of IT and aim to process and redeploy as many components and materials as possible back into the market. Where this is not possible, we can recycle your equipment to the point of refinery.
We have several methods and financial arrangements for doing this and are proud to say that we don’t send anything to landfill. We also do not export out of the UK to avoid contributing to issues with E-waste in landfill overseas.
Financial incentives
Most residual IT equipment has some part of it that can be reused or recycled for a premium. meaning all businesses can make money on their old, unused, redundant, or dormant equipment whilst contributing to a greener, circular economy.

There’s nothing quite as damaging or as expensive as data loss, so we ensure data safety is at the forefront of our processes 100% of the time, no matter what.
With over two decades of experience handling and destroying sensitive data, and as a business that is audited regularly by various external bodies, you can rest assured your data is safe with us.

Traceability
We manage your surplus IT either as an asset transfer or as WEEE for recycling with full auditing. If you have assets that are not being used in your business, then we are pleased to have the opportunity to value those assets and provide a green route for them to be removed.
WEEE can be delivered to our site, or we can arrange a collection for you via one of our fully licensed delivery partners.
