Zixtel joins British Metal Recycling Association
Zixtel Ltd joins the British Metal Recycling Association (BMRA) as we continue to build strong working relationships with UK metal recyclers and scrap merchants.
The British Metals Recycling Association (BMRA) is the trade association representing the £7 billion UK metal recycling sector, which consists of over 270 organisations, that trade and process over 10 million tonnes of ferrous and non-ferrous metals every year.
Julie Pickersgill, Operations Director at Zixtel Ltd explained “We are proud to be a part of the BMRA, a trade association widely considered to be the voice of the metals recycling industry here in the UK. We are very much looking forward to immersing ourselves into the social side of the association as we continue to develop our recycling plant.’’
With a rigorous application process in place BMRA membership is only open to metals recycling companies of good standing so we are privileged to join the club!
The world is predicted to produce 75 million metric tonnes of e-waste by 2030 meaning its more important than ever to recover as many precious metals as possible from as much e-waste as we can.
